What a skin scent is
A fragrance with a radius of 30 to 50 cm. People close to you notice it. Colleagues in an open office do not. The build is often musk, ambroxan, ISO E Super, and clean aldehydes.

How to try one
Wear a decant through at least 3 to 5 full days in your real context: office, commute, evening. On paper many of them smell empty. That belongs to the genre. Check the concentration too. A musky extrait and a musky EDT can share a name and behave nothing alike, and heat in a bag will flatten the delicate ones first.
