Lost Cherry
Gourmand · EDP · 2018
Liqueur cherry in an expensive bottle: bitter almond, dark cherry, a warm base. One of the most polarizing niche gourmands. Some people love it. Others get cough syrup. Also one of the most counterfeited fragrances on the Russian grey market.
Context
Lost Cherry is dark cherry, bitter almond, and a warm base. It smells like a liqueur dessert built on amber and sandalwood. The provocation is the point, and it is why the bottle sold.
On skin
The opening is bright cherry and almond, close to maraschino. After an hour the sweetness settles and a warm tonka base comes forward. Longevity sits around 7 to 8 hours. Projection is obvious for the first 2 hours. In heat it turns into cloying liqueur.
Fakes
After Aventus and BR540, Lost Cherry is a prime counterfeit target in Russia. Avito and Telegram are full of “testers” at a half or a third of retail. Those are almost always fake. The original has a clean bitter almond. Fakes lean synthetic cherry-caramel. Buy from authorized sellers, and check a decant first.
Verdict
Buy it if this cherry is the one you want and you can pay for it. Value is low. Past €320 there are more interesting materials for the money. A decant is required. Skin reactions to cherry and almond are unpredictable.

Before a bottle
Ask for 2 to 10 ml. Wear it three times on your own skin. A blotter will not tell you what hour four smells like.
