Timur has been buying niche across the border since 2017, first from Moscow resellers, then from anyone who would ship to Almaty without a story about customs. Most of what he knows about grey stock he learned by opening it.

He writes the market guides and most of the side-by-side files. His notes always carry the conditions: the season, the batch code when there is one, and the temperature the parcel sat in on the way.

He tests in a hot climate on purpose. If a scent turns on skin at thirty degrees, his file is where you read it first.
